Located in a coastal area with severe salt spray corrosion, PT Indo Power faced frequent insulator flashovers and metal fitting rust, leading to monthly power outages. They needed insulators that could resist strong corrosion, maintain hydrophobicity for long periods, and fit their existing 220kV transmission tower hardware.
