Glass fiber insulation is a very good insulation material. 1. Good corrosion resistance

Place water containing a large amount of mud and sand into the pipe for a comparative test on the impact of rotational wear. After 3 million rotations, the wear depth of the inner wall of the pipe is detected as follows: 0.53mm for steel pipes coated with tar and enamel, 0.52mm for steel pipes coated with epoxy resin and tar, and 0.21mm for steel pipes treated with surface hardening. From this, it can be seen that the wear resistance of glass fiber pipes is very good.

7. Good thermal insulation

Glass fiber is a non-conductive material, and the electrical insulation of pipelines is excellent. The insulation resistance ranges from 1012 to 1015 Ω. cm, making it the most suitable for use in power transmission. The heat transfer coefficient of glass fiber pipes in areas with dense telecommunications lines and frequent lightning is very small, only 0.23, which is five thousandths of that of steel. The insulation performance of pipelines is excellent.
